“When I joined a foreign company, I spent every meeting nodding along and understanding half of it. Clarie is the tool I wish I'd had on day one — so you can follow the conversation now, and never lose a follow-up later.”
Clarie records Zoom, Teams, Meet or any other meeting app on your Mac and shows translated subtitles while people are still talking. When the call ends, you get a bilingual subtitled video, clean minutes and your to-dos — one button, no bot joining the call.
Records and translates any meeting app on your Mac
You shouldn't have to switch tools because your team uses Teams and your client uses Zoom. And you shouldn't have to wait until after the meeting to understand it.
Clarie captures the meeting window and its audio straight from macOS. Pick Zoom, Teams, Meet, a browser tab or any app — no bot joins the call, no calendar setup, no plugins.
A subtitle bar floats over your meeting with the original line and its translation, a second or two behind the speaker. Follow along in English, Chinese or Japanese — and speak up when it matters.
For every meeting at my new job, I used to record with a screen recorder, run Whisper for the transcript, then paste it into an AI to translate, summarize and pull out to-dos. It worked — but it cost an extra hour every time.
Click Record meeting and pick the window. Live translated subtitles appear immediately. Already have a recording? Use Import video.
Clarie listens to the whole meeting again and polishes every line with full context — not sentence by sentence.
A bilingual subtitled video to rewatch the part you missed, minutes in English / 中文 / 日本語, and to-dos that land on your schedule — all archived in one place.
A floating subtitle bar shows the original and the translation over any app, in real time.
Get the meeting back as an MP4 with clean two-language subtitles burned in, plus SRT files.
After the call, the full transcript is re-read end to end, so names, terms and meaning stay consistent.
Summary, decisions and people — open them in English, Chinese or Japanese with one click.
Action items are pulled out of the conversation and placed on your calendar, linked back to the meeting.
People switching between English, Chinese and Japanese mid-sentence? Clarie keeps up.
Every meeting saved as a tidy Markdown file with minutes, to-dos and the full transcript.
On Apple silicon, Whisper runs locally on your Mac's GPU — the audio itself never leaves your computer.
Add names and team jargon so they're recognized and translated correctly every time.

Processing a meeting uses 15 credits per hour of audio. Credits refill every month.
Download the app and upgrade inside it — every plan starts with the same free download.
All of them. Clarie records a window and its audio straight from macOS, so it works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack Huddles, Webex, Lark, a browser tab, or even a video you're watching. Nothing joins your call.
While you record, Clarie transcribes the audio as it comes in and shows the original line plus its translation in a subtitle bar at the bottom of your screen, usually a second or two behind the speaker. After the meeting, it re-transcribes and re-translates everything with the full context for the final video and minutes.
Clarie is built for English, Chinese and Japanese — including meetings where people switch between them. Minutes can be opened in any of the three.
A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) and macOS 15 or later. With 16 GB of memory or more, speech recognition runs locally with Whisper (about a 1.6 GB one-time download); otherwise Clarie uses macOS's built-in speech recognition. Intel Macs aren't supported yet.
Recordings, videos and archives stay on your Mac. The transcribed text is sent to our AI service to translate and write minutes. Please make sure recording is allowed by your company and the people in the meeting before you start.
Not yet — Clarie doesn't separate speakers today, so some to-dos will show as “unassigned”. Minutes are AI-generated, so give them a quick check.
Not yet. Clarie runs on Apple silicon Macs for now.
